We are a group of TEX-enthusiasts from India. We are a not-for-profit organisation. Our objectives are:

To spread awareness about TEX in India.
To localise the linguistic and typographic diversity of India in the TEX-ethos.
To build a warm, friendly, Indian TEX community.
To organize conferences, workshops and tutorials on various facets of the TEX system.
To support the users of TEX when they face technical glitches.

About us

tugindia was first established in 1998. It enjoyed an enthusiastic rise and suffered an unfortunate fall when new office bearers took charge sequel to the conclusion of tug 2002 which was hosted in Trivandrum. After 22 years, a bunch of Indian TEX hackers have come together again to revive this initiative. We are spread across several states of India. Currently we have active participation from Trivandrum, Kannur (Kerala); Mumbai, Pune (Maharashtra) and Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
