- 2024-09-07:
tugindia was first established in 1998. It faced an
enthusiastic rise and an unfortunate fall in a couple of years. After 22 years, a bunch of Indian
TEX hackers have come
together again to revive this initiative. We are spread across several states of India. Currently we
have active participation from Trivandrum, Kannur (Kerala); Mumbai, Pune (Maharashtra) and
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
- 2024-10-01:
The annual conference of the TEX Users Group for the year 2025, also known as
TUG 2025, is scheduled to be conducted in Trivandum during July 18–20, 2025.
This is the third time that a TUG conference is being held at Trivandrum. Hope,
TEX users from India would
find this conference convenient for them to participate. The conference web site will soon be

tugindia has released its first LATEX package, namely, udis, which is a generic document
class to format dissertations for submission to universties. The specialty of this class, among
other features, is its support for Indic scripts and many customisable options. The package shall
be downloaded from https://ctan.org/pkg/udiss.

TEXFolio is a community supported, browser oriented,
TEX based document
foramtting system. It needs a modern browser and a recent TEX Live installation to work. The
TEXFolio can be installed on
your local desktop or laptop or shall be installed on a server so that several of your colleagues
can share the framework for their individual document formatting purposes with necessary user
credentials. TEXFolio is a
free software as in free speech and free beer.
